Asbestos Millboard

We provide Asbestos Millboard Sheet, which is made from carefully chosen, uniformly high-quality, clean asbestos fibres mixed with the appropriate non-flammable binding elements.  These millboards are renowned for their strength and resilience to heat and fire.  When properly supported, our millboards can withstand temperatures as high as 500°C (932°F), and even higher.  Furthermore, it can function well at extremely high temperatures up to about 1400 C.  These are renowned for their ability to handle impact and vibratory loads with ease.

 These sheets, which come in soft, medium, and hard grades, can be moulded or cemented into any shape and can be cut, drilled, and screwed to supporting beams.  Only when specifically requested by our customers is the medium grade provided. When stiffness is required, the hard grade—which is brittle and stiff—is employed.
